Journal of Social Intervention: Theory and Practice

The Journal of Social Intervention: Theory and Practice is an academic journal that aims to make available academic research and reflections on practice in social intervention to a readership of academics and professionals. The journal focuses on the interface between social policy, organizational innovation, development of methods and professional practice. The subjects featured in the journal are not restricted to any specific domain of intervention, since social intervention is a relevant concept to different domains, such as social pedagogy, social work, community and organizational development, adult education, local social policy, and different sectors of care (e.g. youth care).

The target readership of the journal includes teachers in higher vocational and university education, academics from a range of disciplines, practising social workers and policy officials involved in solving social issues as part of their work.
